Decision Support Systems (DSS) in the Process of Product Development for Mass Customization

Decisions about product development in mass customization (MC) are crucial but complex. It is suggested the use of Decision Support Systems (DSS) to improve decision-making within the product development process (PDP) in mass customization systems to better serve not only to organizational demands, as well as to market demands. Thus, we conducted an exploratory literature review aiming to identify applications of DSS in the PDP in the CM.
